Angelita
Registered Nurse | Advocate for Adults with Developmental Disabilities and Veterans | Founder of Amore at Home
With over 25 years of experience in healthcare and 14 years as a Registered Nurse, Angelita has dedicated her career to providing compassionate, patient-centered care. Having spent more than a decade working at the Veterans Hospital, she has developed a deep understanding of the unique needs of individuals facing both physical and mental health challenges. Angelita's passion for working with adults with developmental disabilities is deeply personal. Having been closely connected to family and friends who were born with these conditions, she recognized a gap in quality care that truly meets the needs of this community.
This personal connection led her to believe that working with adults with developmental disabilities isn't just her profession—it's her calling and life's purpose. This deep sense of purpose is the driving force behind her founding of Amore at Home. Angelita established the organization to provide tailored care and support for individuals with developmental disabilities, ensuring they receive the respect, dignity, and high-quality care they deserve in a home setting.
Through Amore at Home, Angelita continues to advocate for this underserved population, creating a space where compassionate care meets the unique needs of each individual. As both a healthcare professional and a passionate advocate, Angelita's commitment to enriching the lives of those she serves is unwavering, and she continues to make a profound impact in the lives of adults with developmental disabilities.
